Thankfully The Food Is Good

After finishing a shoot for a Nike endorsement, Daisuke Matsuzaka sat down for a press conference discussing his recent exploits in the United States. Daisuke discussed his approval of food in the US (especially fish), his training regimen, and adjusting to the rhythm of a 5-day rotation. He also mentioned working on a new pitch. No need to stop the presses, he's likely tuning up his infrequently-used 2-seamer.

With a new translator in tow, Matsuzaka spoke positively of his first encounters with fans, and their polite and gracious attitudes. He has watching game tapes familiarizing himself with faces and names of fellow Major Leaguers.
